Porchfest began in Ithaca, NY in 2007 as a grassroots way to bring neighbors and musicians together in celebration of local music and community. Since then, it has spread across the country, with residents offering up their porches and driveways as informal stages. The first-ever Porchfest Annapolis will take place on June 14, 2025, from 11 AM to 3 PM in the Germantown-Homewood neighborhood, featuring 45-minute sets from local musicians as attendees stroll from porch to porch. While this year’s event is centered in one neighborhood, future Porchfests aim to showcase talent across different parts of Annapolis.
